No h.264 codec installed but I installed them

Hello everybody, I installed some h.264 codec the ones of Th 1041 (cyberlink), then mainconcept, and then the cyberlink of the poverdvd 7 trial, but I can't see them in DD directshow window box. In that box under h.264 I can only see Null. I also noticed the graphedit under tools, may I use it to bu...

Playing back verses demod/decode/rendering H.264 are two different things. Most modern PCs can playback H.264 with PDVD or Intervideo. The CPU/GPU challenge comes when decoding and rendering demodulated DVB-S H.264. DVB-S H.264 demodulation, decoding and rendering require CPU/GPU horsepower. Thank ...

Re: DD 1.4d and dropped frame information

Dear Chattana, probably with coreavc you don't lose frames because it should be the fastest h.264 codec, but it also true that due to it algorithm it has a bad quality image, and someone says it shouldn't consider a h.264 for this quality reason. What can I say if you like it why don't use it. Yeste...

Re: Power to run mpeg-4(h264)?

I've got an Athlon XP 3200+ with 2gigs of DDR memory. My card (Geforce 6600GT) I think is too slow to run h.264. I've already tried all combinations of codecs and the video is choppy. Do I need a faster card to let me run h.264 without problems or do I also need a faster processor? I've read somewh...
