posting this just in the case this post would be found with "search function" with sth. like "stuttering" "timeshift"... try other codecs for better timeshift performance by the way... i'm currently trying the newest FFDShow codec (rev1839 from Feb 2nd 2008) and it seems to work fine!! i don't know ...
