Don't know anything about MSI. My SS2 works great and one (likely) advantage is that it has 64bit drivers so it is future proof. Also german made.

Similarly my SkyStar 2 worked for all other programs except DD. In my case I could only get Horizontal channels in DD. Turned out to be incorrect satellite settings, other programs seem to be a little more idiot proof when it comes to these settings. In my case, when it came to LNB type I had to use...
