Is there a module in the works or a feature that I don't know about to be able to tune to channels directly by keystroking the number (SID) of the channel. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

What media player are you using? Configuring MPC (media player classic) seems to work well for me if installing the right codecs. Is there a reason why you just want the mpeg format?

Means that your current audio codec is not compatible with either you video codec or renderers. Use nvidia for video and intervideo for audio for the best stability.
