Of course not. It's just a suggestion. I have usually signal problem due to cable length, satelitte exact direction, etc... With Dvbdream I can find all the channels after scanning (hope so :). There is no problem with using SS HD2 with Dvbdream, scanning channels and watching them. But with Dvbview...

I have only Astra 19.2 and can receive all type of German channels with usual vp... Just my computer's hardware is not enough to watch them perfectly.

yes, it works with ScanMan's latest BDA_ALL interface. You just need to change DiSEqCMode=1 (default is 3) in BDA_ALL.ini file
