When you say only one of them works, what do you mean? The Audio in the BBC-HD service is 1x AC-3 and 1x MPEG Layer 2 Stereo (the narative track). Is it that the audio just isn't being decoded? I'm using Beta 7, but i can see both PIDs present in the recording. Maybe the AC-3 PID isn't getting recog...

Right, sorry for the delay! The deinterlacing options in the ArcSoft codec aren't very clear (auto, none and force), plus they don't seem to get saved when you close DVB Dream. After a great deal of messing around, I'm not running the cyberlink codec(I've not tested the CPU/GPU usage yet though), bu...

Hi, I'm using the ArcSoft codecs and haven't experienced any green flashes. You might be getting some stream corruption thats manifesting itself as the green flashes. What's your signal level and quality like? I'd not do the streaming to VLC, just because its a bit of a pain when you change channels...

That's actually a good question. The de-interlacing mode is part of the codec settings rather than DVB Dream, so you would need to do it with the settings manager for the codec. I use the ArcSoft codecs, but I haven't tried fixing the de-interlace mode to a particular setting and keeping it there......

Your recordings will be totally unaffected by how you setup the de-interlacing in your codec at the time of recording. The recording is the as transmitted video stream, so its all about how you set your de-interlacing in your playback software. If you are using VLC, right click on the video itself w...

As I understand it, a "traditional" CRT TV effectively operated in a "bob" de-interlacing mode, even field then odd field, displayed alternately. Using bob I find makes live events look more like "normal" TV. There are other modes to use, blend, discard, inverse bob (don't use that one!) etc, and I ...

Hi, I don't know if the genpix cards support it, but for those cards that have the ability to stream the whole TS, you can do PIP with just a single tuner. This allows you to display multiple (CPU/GPU dependant) services from a single multiplex at the same time. If you do get two cards, you can't us...

Actually,

Forget the first one, I must have been doing something odd as DVB Drema does now seem to remember my LAN Streaming settings.

Thanks,

James.

TS Streaming - Multiple Requests!

Hi, First, DVB Dream is a fantastic piece of software and I love it! Now, for TS Streaming, is it possible to do any of the following (in order of prefernce!) 1) Have DVB Dream remember the LAN Streaming settings 2) Add a button on the main screen, or a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable LAN Stream...

Undocumented "Feature" - Nameless/No Channels in s

Hi All, I had a good old search and the only reference to nameless channels that was similar to my issue was very old and had no solution... so I thought I'd post this. I tried a scan a couple of nights ago, and DVB Dream was getting a lock and finding no channels, or getting a lock and just finding...
