Hi phx, I know that some people talks about a problem like that, but in most of the cases the problem is the power supply, and in what seems to be your case, is a motherboard problem, this is the worst problem, because a modification like the one you did is necessary. I tried it on several PC's wit...

DD doesn't find DirecTV channels at 119W
DD 1.4i + SS2. Driver v4.4.3 from Technisat It finds well all DishNetwork channels from "Anik F3" and "Echostar-7" at 119W, but doesn't find any of channels from "DirecTV 7S" on the same orbital position. According to Lyngsat, FEC for dTV should be 6/7 for all transponders, but DD provides no such F...

SkyStar-2 modification
I have SS2 and tried it on different computers with similar CPU's, memory size and versions on Windows. On some computers it works, on other - works unstable or can't find channels at all. Finally I discovered this is due to high power consumption by SS2 through PCI bus and not all motherboards can ...

PS: now you know how it's important to tell all parameters (not just those that you think are relevant, and omit "irrelevant" stuff). the same is happening in parallel thread . The author does NOT provide the description of his configuration and waits for help. He can wait all day long..... but nob...

Re: SS2 finds only Horisontal/Left transponders with DD
This is what I have: BTW, when I go to "Server4PC" settings and try manually set up it to e.g. 12,282V or 12,142V - signal is found and successfully locked, but DD doesn't see those transponders anyway even if I try to do a manual scan. I found a parameter "Voltage for bandstacking LNBs". It can be...

I don't think B2C2 dev is able to control BDA driver. You need to install WDM driver to be able to talk to B2C2. Try BDA interface here: http://www.dvbdream.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1181 Device interface you selected can not change any tuning parameters in BDA driver (parameters sent by DVB Dream ...

Scanning takes 1-2 seconds total again and finds nothing. It's usually happens when DVB Dream does not see the DVB-s card you selected. what driver do you use, WDM or BDA? what device interface (*.dev) you selected for this driver? I just downloaded full sofware package for SS2 from www.technisat.c...

It's orginal "Dish-500 Pro" with two LNB's in one monoblock and built-in Diseq. and I couldn't find any "DP" marks on it are two mutually exclusive statements. If your Twin LNB does not have DP letters on it, it is not a DishPro, and it does not have Diseqc switch inside. I just climbed the roof an...

If this lnb has the" DP" logo on it in black letters then try the setup i mentioned in my earlier post...good luck. I couldn't find any "DP" marks on it, but tried already what you suggested. No help. Still no signal on any trasponder and whole scan takes just 1 second. I borrowed a Dish Network re...

A little more information about what lnb your using would be helpful.I have a feeling your problem is in how you set things up in the diseq. section. It's orginal "Dish-500 Pro" with two LNB's in one monoblock and built-in Diseq. It has two outputs for two receivers, but those are equal. On one sid...

Transponders on 119 are from 12224 to 12516 Mhz. Transponder 11282 does not exist, that frequency is a linear freq. It sounds like you need to reaim your dish. If you are using DP lnb's then you need to set your lnb for NA Bandstacked DishPro Ku-Hi (DBS), LoF-1=11250000, LoF-2=14350000. If you are ...

SS2 and Dish-500 Pro - no signal
I have a "Dish-500 Pro" pointed to 119W and 110W as it suppose to be. About two years ago I set it up with driver V.4.2.8 patched by Saar and DvbDream v1.3c on PC P4-2.4 Windows-XP. It worked fine and saw all channels on both satellites, but I quit my experiments and didn't touch satellite equipment...
