Re: ERROR #2374 Missing file. DD can not find "des.dll"....
Thank you. I was actually able to resolve all des.dll issues permanently; even on older versions of DVB Dream by excluding DVBDream.exe from HIPS protection on my Antivirus. With NOD32 antivirus, below is how to fix the problem permanently. I am guessing the same can be done in other Antivirus softw...

ERROR #2374 Missing file. DD can not find "des.dll".....
This error message comes up eventually no matter what version of DVBDream I upgrade to. The only way I can fix this (which is ridiculous) is to reimage my whole PC. I have seen other people mention this error, so I know it's not just me. Isn't there a way to permanently fix this issue without doing ...

Re: Windows 7 64bit - Problem with des.dll - Dvbdream cant s
Same thing for me. I am using DVBDream 1.5e. What is causing this? If it's antivirus, how to do exclude? I am using NOD32 antivirus Win7 64bit (Ultimate Edition) I would prefer not to upgrade unless newer versions support separate installation directory on the same PC and the problem is gone for sur...

Re: "Missing File. DD can not find "des.dll"
It would be very nice to fix this problem. My server only reboots once a month. I am definitely not going to reboot the entire machine just because of dvbdream. Maybe the problem can be debugged by the creators of DVB Dream to see what circumstances is causing this and actually fix or prevent the pr...

Windows 7 64bit users.. please try version 1.5g.
I was told that version 1.5g should be released today. Can people who were having stability issues (bluescreen, crashing, hanging) with 1.5f try 1.5g? I am currently using 1.5e.
I am curious about stability and performance under Win7 64bit.

DVBDream 1.5f BLOD on 64bit Windows 7
I'm not sure if the BLODs are caused by DVBWorld DVBWorld HD 2104 CA+CI USB 64bit drivers or not. However, it seems there are other people who are having stability issues with DVB Dream 1.5f as well. Did something change in DVB Dream 1.5f that could cause problems with 64bit DVB-S2 BDA drivers in ge...

I've been stuck on DVBDream v1.4i. Asking to install a different OS is not acceptable. I wonder why no other DVB tuner manufacturer doesnt have this problem? Is DVB World going out of business or are they just abandoning their PC customers? Even my employer uses Vista on thousands of PC across Unite...

I tried to get DVBWorld Support to fix a couple of reproducible issues with their Vista32 drivers distributed with all their products, but the person who I talked to, "Peter" refused to acknowledge/fix the issues; saying "Vista is garbage". Saying he has only time to focus on their STB. Very unprofe...

Thanks for the settings suggestion. However, I think youre missing the point of the thread. There's a pretty significant bug that I'm reporting. It's too much of a hassle to click on this dialog box every time I use DVBDream. What a ridiculous complain! If it so "annoying" why just don't you switch ...

I can at least avoid wasted CPU cycles when first starting DVBDream by unchecking "Tune to last channel on startup". However, the problem is after I stop watching the channel via the network encoder plugin, the DVBDream doesnt stop tuning that channel. Feature needed: Stop tuning a channel after a n...

I am sure this is preproducable. I uninstalled DVBDream 1.4i and installed 1.5e cleanly. As soon as I add any DVBWorld tuner (USB or PCI), I can no longer exit DVBDream. I have tried all the recent DVBWorld drivers; and, have all the default settings for DVBDream 1.5e. This is actually a critical is...

Native Cam support for DVBWorld USB-S2 CI/CA
Currently, I'm using the magicCam.dll plugin that comes with DVBWorld drivers. However, it would be nice to have native support in DVBDream for it (using that dll) to make the CAM support seamless in DVBDream. There aren't a whole lot of DVB-S2 tuners that have builtin CAMs; so it would be nice to a...

DVBDream 1.5 will lock up on exit (DVBWorld tuners)
If I try to exit from DVBDream 1.5 (pressing the X / F4), DVBDream's user interface will hang. If I try to exit from the windows system tray, the icon will disappear, but the process dvbdream.exe will remain in memory and CPU usage jumps up. I have to manually kill the process using Windows task man...

Network encoder users would like feature..
Currently, when DVBDream is loaded into memory, it attaches to the respective BDA driver and starts to stream audio/video even if it's in renderless mode and sitting in the Windows System tray waiting for the network encoder to request a channel change and stream. This can waste valuable system CPU ...

CPU Priority and /min command-line switches ignored IF......
I just tried DVBDream 1.5 beta 7. I'm guessing that version 1.4i has this same issue. If DVBDream is set to auto-load when Windows starts.... the "Priority" and command line "/min" options are completely ignored... *IF* during Windows bootup, Windows hasn't finished loading the device drivers (and r...
