First off, I forgot that I too have a DGS2205 switch between the workstation running DD and the DIR655. The DIR655 is at the default 1492 MTU. I can only get MPC to pick up the stream locally using the built-in DD integration. I use MPC from here: http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/. It has support for t...

My NIC is embedded on an Abit IP35pro mainboard. The interface is a Realtek, my driver is labeled "Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family PCI GBE NIC", the driver date is 1/20/09 v.6.216.120.2009. Jumbo's are disabled. I'll let you know what I observe while streaming. I can say right now, however, that I strea...

I use a DIR-655 rev.A2 FWv.1.21. It being easy enough, I decided to test streaming through mine. I verified I can stream wired Gb and Wireless-N (can connect ~300Mb) from a Vista x86 workstation to an XP x86 laptop through the DIR-655. I don't seem to have any problems other than the fact that my la...

Only if you set your desktop resolution to the resolution of the stream and run in full screen mode. But this is frustrating because there are so many different resolutions out there. And it's not going to eliminate all scaling unless your display's native resolution matches what your desktop resolu...

Yes you can. Under account settings...disable UAC and that should do it. I had to do this for my Imon IR to effectively use my 880 remote. BlaznAzn, you're mistaken. UAC, though it can cause issues with certain apps, has nothing to do with driver signature enforcement. Also, if you've installed Vis...

I can't help you with your current setup...but I don't believe that legacy LNB's are going to work perfectly for you. Note the setting in DVBDream on the DISEQC options where you can select "NA Bandstacked LNB"--this would be a DishPro LNB and is selected by default if you checked the box during set...

Re: Two problems using 1.4i in Vista
Two problems using 1.4i in Vista. Scheduler does not work. DD starts up, but the file size is 20kb. Also it will not load without admin rights window popping-up, because of User Account Control. All previous builds worked fine in both regards, therefore I’ve gone back to 1.4h. Has anyone had this...

THanks for the all info Tosiba...you've been a great help. After reading your instructions many times over, it's starting to make sense to me. Currently the only way I am able to do direct channel switching is by moving channels to "Remote" section next to favs. I am unable to switch to say 200 for...

Re: 100 CPU
I do have CoreAVC, but then my CPU is maxing at 100%. I can not get any DXVA out of it. Why CyberLink gives me harware acceleration and CoreAVC doesn't? Is there some sort of config within CoreAVC? In DD, if you go to Tools->Video, double-click on CoreAVC in the window on the right. You will then s...
