I never get this issue anymore. And I used to have it all the time. I just changed the properties of the program to always run as administrator, and that solved the problem for me.

Maybe in 3 or 4 years time, I will look at how things are then before buying another card. Cannot justify it at the moment. I wish Prof was still manufacturing cards.

There are virtually no S2X channels anyway. I sent the card back for a refund. For the astronomical price, I expected a better performing card.

Did you ever resolve this problem? I am experiencing the same issue. Win 11. Asked to enter my registration number every week or so

I can't seem to see anywhere online that still sells Prof DVB S2 pci tuner cards. Does anyone know if it is still possible to buy them?

It can be scanned well with DVB Dream. It is indeed slow scanning, but this is because of the card and not the player.

OK thanks. I am surprised at how slow it is. I would have thought a newer card would be the opposite.

I have been using TBS6925 for many years without problems. However, I am now using TBS 6903-X and have found DVBDream runs extremely slowly. Sometimes the program just hangs and I have to shut DVBDream down. Am using Windows 11. Has anyone else experienced the same?

I have tried to use the new blind scanner in v3 but cannot get it to work.

What do you have to do? I have the frequency range in and press start, and it immediately says "completed" without scanning.

Can someone please advise?
