Channel list sorting and column options
In my channel list I display name, SID, and transponder/freq. Can I put SID first column and have it stay there? Right now it always goes back to Channel name. Can there be different sorting options for each satellite? I'd like to have channels from DBS providers ordered by SID and channels from big...

Yeah. In clone mode it works. But then I have trouble with full screen viewing. I think I have something, was able to adjust TV out settings and at least now it fills the screen. But it's still not right. Live content I must select full screen, playback recorded content and TV goes full screen autom...

DVB EPG fullscreen TV out
Anyone gotten DVBEPG to display in full screen on a TV output?
nVidia mx4000, VGA + TV out.
EPG displays only on VGA, unless I set up a clone mode.
But then when switching to a channel the video won't reliably go into full screen. And F9 won't always bring EPG back up.
Open to suggestions.

Digital is digital. There's only one reason that a recorded file would play differently than a live one, the playback application is using a different codec or one with different settings, or a different renderer. The renderer shouldn't make any difference either, but video cards can be strange anim...

ok, your LOF settings are fine, should be 11250. What kind of switch is it? You're sure it's a Diseqc switch? Not a 22khz switch or something. 2 port? 4 port? Even if it's a 2 port switch you're probably going to need to use the Diseqc 1.0/2.0 setting, just leave 2 port settings empty. The simple Di...

You're getting audio when watching? But not when the same channel is recorded? No audio on both could be wrong PID or a codec/sound card issue. Sometimes the AC3 audio might be 2.0 other times 5.1. The codec and sound card will have to play nice to turn 5.1 into 2.0 if you're listening in stereo. Op...

FYI - using scheduler to switch channel only, no recording
Your favorite program is coming up but you're not watching the time.
You can use scheduler to change channels for you without recording.
Just set the record duration to zero.

What we need is for the card to report it has detected a signal and at what level. The software scans a range of frequencies looking for carriers. When the card reports it has found a signal above a particular threshold you continue scanning until it falls off again. Then you tune to the center. Use...

It may not have been the codec's fault. As long as you've got it working don't worry about it. There are some channels that use odd sample rates. If the codec doesn't tell the sound card what the rate is or the card doesn't change you'll get audio of the wrong pitch. Some codecs play along better wi...
