Re: tevi 660 usb problem switches 1 to 8
two questions: 1) what's up with all these supersized bold fonts? can't you use a normal font as everybody else? 2) why don't you mention important stuff, your system configuration, for example? 3) log file shows that custom (non-BDA) tevi diseqc commands are working fine: "OEM diseqc method: SUCCEE...

Re: No Signal After Wake
rshack, your situation is very different from what rsoares28 has. You use skywalker-2, which looses power completely when your PC goes to sleep (cause it's powered from the same power supply as your PC). rsoares28 uses SkyWalker-1 which has its own power supply, and it does NOT loose the power when ...

ali9645, why are you starting a new topic with the very same question you already asked two times? Do you even read the answers? What exactly don't you understand in the answer you had received? Do you even understand that you are asking your question in the wrong place (you have to ask the manufact...

Re: How to scan different TP on frequencies
119 & 118 are a dual lnb and presently I am not actually even using the last two which just proves that you don't know what you are talking about. unlike your believe, dual LNB was not designed to be used with more then one satellite (we are talking about fixed dish here, right?). so .... whatever ...

Re: How to scan different TP on frequencies
you have to tell DVB Dream what kind of LNBs you have (if you select/describe wrong LNBs, you will end up tuning on wrong TPs).How can I add the search for all TP's
PS: you listed 5 LNBs and 4x4 diseqc switch. I have absolutely no idea how you can make this configuration work.

Re: A problem with the device in Dvbdream 1.7a with Aver3D 8
in other words, DvbDream does not know how to send diseqc command using BDA driver of your new card. This is exactly the reason why this card is not in the list of supported hardware, don't you think so? Read the explanation in supported devices section. Find the SDK (info from manufacturer of this ...

Re: Transponder Names
I checked the pdf file you attached, and on page 3 (Astra 2 sat at 28.2E) 10714MHz transponder is numbered as tp41 (2.041 means TP #41 on Astra 2 satellite).
So ... I don't think that Lyngsat is wrong here.

Re: Why recorded file is 4 GB maximum then stopped recording
have you tried to change "max file size (for split)" to something different then 4GB? for instance, some much bigger number, or set it to zero (to disable splitting completely). Maybe (somehow) splitting is not working right in your environment (for instance, your program does not have enough privil...

Re: Problem with some channels on DVB Dream 1.7a p2 on FFDSh
these are interlaced artifacts. Can often happen with sport events which are shot at real 1080i format (or 480i). Which means that each half-frame of the source signal is acquired it different moment of time, and when codec glues them together you see zigzag edges of fast moving objects. It's also p...

Re: Positioner not working with TBS6925
are you comparing the same BDA.dev files? I found that committed diseqc commands are broken in BDA.dev since DVB Dream ver.1.7 (at least with GenpixBDA driver). Previous versions of BDA.dev work fine. Just for giggles, try different versions of DVB Dream and/or bda.dev It's possible that older/newer...

To genpix, I thought that this is seriously forum for seriously people, who don't get advices like "check in google" or "try search" (I can use this tools - believe me). Before I wrote this post, I made researching.. Sorry, but I can not "believe" you (or simply take your word) on this matter. Try ...

Somebody have met with this one yet? Sorry, there is no button "Somebody have met with this one yet?" here. But there is a "Search" button which immediately give you several threads exactly like your question. Do you really want to show your ignorance with the very first post (especially, placing i...

Re: any plans for a DD version on Liunx - Ubuntu ?
and what's the point of your request? do you have Linux BDA-driver-equivalent for your card? Linux uses v4l engine, most Windows DVB applications use BDA driver interface and DirectShow filters. These are very different approaches. Thus, writing DD for Linux is the same as writing new DVB applicatio...

Re: Questions I'm Missing
when you switch your PC in hibernate mode, power supply stops providing 5V and 12V to periphery (your DVB-s card is a peripheral device). When you wake your PC up, DVB-s card is in default state (LNB controller is disabled, tuner is awaiting tuning commands). Surely, you will get no video or audio, ...
