you can pick "Other" as LNB type
then type your LNB's local oscillator frequency into both LOF1 and LOF2 boxes Leave LOFSW as 0

for S band LOF will probably be 3650.

what exactly does not work?
do you know the LOF of your LNB?
did you enter it in DVB Dream configuration?

for instance, Zinwell uses lof=3620MHz in their S-band LNBs.
Some other manufacturers use 1570MHz.
What's your lof?

You need to be sure of your LNB's LOF value.
Do you use any diseqc or 22khz switch on your system?
Did you try your card (SigmaSS3 ?)works well with DD ? with any other LNB?

You can not use some random LOF value.
You have to use LOF which matches your hardware.
There is NO way around it.
Find the LOF value of your LNB, and you would be ready to scan.

also,
what satellite are you trying to scan?
does it have transponders in DVB format? (you can not use DVB-s card for signals which are not DVB).

If you LNB indeed has internal LO with 1570MHz, you have to use 1570MHz in DD config.
that is 1570000, cause you use kHz in LNB configuration.

Are you positive that you use correct amount of zeros?

And since you don't use switches, I'd use "N/A legacy" and put 1570000 there (it's just my personal preferences)

they wont show up if you use default LOF.
If you select proper LOF, you should start to see them (this is how it supposed to work, unless there is a bug in DD).

there shouldnt be any bug, but I am not sure. nothing changed LNB/LOF related code since v1.4i.

maggiore, can you attach your dvbdream.log file here ? after trying to scan with correct LOF settings as genpix wrote.
