DD 1.7 suddenly crashes

DD 1.7 suddenly crashes

Hi All!
After months of good work I cannot run DD 1.7a anymore. It freezes at start-up and creates a crash report. I will attach the first lines of the crash report, if (more) helpful I can attache all. Any help appreciated

If you have this problem try rename the settings.cfg to settings.old
Possible some settings got corrupted.
