windows 2000, skystar ss2 with driver 4.2.8.999 dvbdream 1.3a
i just got myself a diseqc switch.
I have been reading all over (including dvbn and am at my witts end) hoping someone might have a suggestion here.
when i plug my cable directly into the dvb card and scan a satellite i find all the channels i expect to find. This works flawlessly for each satellite i attempt this with.
When i plug one satellite cable into port 1 of my diseqc switch and set the diseqc to v1or2 and setup the switch with my settings i am again able to scan whatever satellite i put in. with excellent signal strength and quality
but when i put either cable into any other port, i am unable to scan anything i get 0 for all levels.
this leads me to believe i have a an actual switching problem.
the lnb's i have are standard north american lnbs from within the last two years. I have left the settings for the type of lnb as ku linear universal with lof at 11250000 0 11250000
for the life of me i can't figure out what's wrong.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
