I have a broadlogic 2030 pci card that gives me a signal and quality of between 78% to 85%. Though it has not locked to the signal or data, I was lead to believe that as long as you have a good signal and quality, which the broadlogic 2030 control panel shows a 78% to 85% signal as does DVB Dream, it should scann channels. Everytime I scan on DVB Dream it shows that it is scanning at least at 78% signal and qualty but it can't find any channels. Does anyone have any experience witb the Broadlogic 2030 card?
Would someone be able to post or pm me what files should be in the root and plugins folders, maybe I have the wrong files or missing certain files. I am using vpl**.
Any help would be welcomed---Oortism

Hi Oortism, I have a broadlogic 2030 card also. It scans ok and you don't need to have anything as high as 70%-80%, I can receive with as low as 10%. At least I can scan one satellite but when I try to scan a second one the program crashes. However, this is the best software that I've found so far since MyTheatre, Sesame TV and ProgDVB wouldn't work at all. You need to install all the drivers for the card first.
If you are on a satellite that doesn't have any TV channels or you haven't entered a good transponder you won't get anything. You should make sure you dish and LNBF are setup and working first before using the software if you can, with the help of a stand alone receiver maybe or
go to www.lyngsat.com and look up your satellite, get all the data for an active channel and do a manual scan for only that channel and you should have success if your LNB and dish are setup correctly.
I don't know what you mean by vpl** or what files you need, I just installed version 1.3a and it worked. Email me if you have any questions.
