A couple problems y'all might share some wisdom on.

1) Streaming over the network. I activate pointed at the destination. I see the network traffic on the router. On the remote machine I see the traffic and VLC indicated packets are being received but no picture or sound. I thought maybe I didn't have the right codecs installed, so I installed MPEG2 Codec pack 2.08 and set it to make sure the codec in use on DD was available on the remote machine. It has actually worked a couple times, but I can not get it to reliably fire up. Same experience trying to use MT, so I suspect its a VLC issue. Any thoughts?

2) Recording! In previous versions I was able to record TS and playback in DD, convert to MPG using TotalVideo Converter, etc. Now I record TS and can not play it in DD and TVC says unrecognized format. I have tried various record options for TS (plain record, not the capture entire MUX record).

I apprecaite any light the more experienced might shed. TIA

1. It works here, try newer VLC version..

2. Work here too, but I had some problems with TS, can't find it now.
