GABEST codecs have gone...

Postby rogervador » Wed Dec 06, 2006 6:26 am

Gabest's codecs have been deleted from DD 1.3b, the built graph can't find them installed from previous version. Could you tell me why because I used them and is it possible to reinstall them from another way.

They have been removed from the setup package. They were not stable enough.

If you have already installed them with v1.3a , you don't need to worry tho. ?

I recommend you to install WinDVD and use Intervideo codecs instead of Gabest.

That's not a bad thing as those codecs create conflicts with others!!!

@rogervador : if you have a DVD drive or recorder, they are most often sold with a DVD Player Software (Intervideo WinDVD, Cyberlink PowerDVD, etc...) and it's possible to use them in DD.
