Sounds Stutter

Postby simplyman2006 » Tue Feb 20, 2007 3:05 am

Hello!
I have a problem and I would like to get some advice of how tp get rid of the problem I have.
Everytime when I switch channels on DVB Dream it takes 2 seconds to switch or more but at the same time you can hear a drrrrrr-rrrrrr-rrr sound as if the last sound got stuttered and stammered out.

It is kinda annoying...

Please help me!!!

Andrew from Russia :P

Strange, all channels or just some? What DVB Dream version are you using? Try to change audio codec and renderer.

I have:
video codec: Sonic Cinemaster;
audio codec: InterVideo;
Video render: Overlay Video Render;
Audio Render: Default DirectSound device

If I set Video codec - Cyberlink (new) I have it work ok but accasionally it happends i can't turn DD at all - all my system got frozen and after i see a blue screen and a warning.

it started when i installed the latests version of DD.

This settings:
video codec: Sonic Cinemaster;
audio codec: InterVideo;
Video render: Overlay Video Render;
Audio Render: Default DirectSound device
it woks alright but i have the sound stuttering on switching programms.

Not all of them stutter like that but i see it happends if i switch channels located on different sattelites...
