It seems that no matter what i do i cant seem to get any chans to scan. I get full 100% signal.
I get no errors to follow.
I use mytheatre and it all works there.
I added the two main birds 110 and 119.
Scan for chans and i get zero! NADA.
I have selected in the Diseqc as 1.0/2.0 and port 1 @ 110 and port 2 @ 119. I have tried to change settings and i have also tried to leave them stock. K Lin Universal 9750000 11700000 10600000 for both.
I am new but im learning. Let me know what i can try other then purchasing a new card.
Thanks
Prinler

I don't think you can see either of those sat with a universal LNB. If this is working in some other player, it's probably because you selected circular LNBs. If using DishPro, select circular bandstacked LNBs. (Works for me!)
Twinhan 1025 DishPro LNB DP34 switch Echostar satellites at 119, 110, 61.5
go to Diseqc options (Main Menu->Options->Diseqc)
if you are using a DishPro LNB, select
NA Bandstacked DishPro Ku-Hi (DBS)
if you are not select the correct type for the LNB you use there.
If your device is a "DVB World" equivlent, it must work with "DVBWorld" device interface in DD.
If you are using BDA driver, you won't have Diseqc support on DD.

Huh?If you are using BDA driver, you won't have Diseqc support on DD.

DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
My first post here (but looking the forum since several weeks ago).
I have success with DD 1.3c and 1.4 (1.4a not tested until I see several bugs will be corrected). DiseqC is working flawlessly. It is a bit annoy wait 4 or 5 seconds to switch in between channels, but it is works. There are another problems right now, but that is another story.
It is strange nobody has told you that Technisat Skystar HD is working well and it should be listed on supported devices as BDA-Native. At least for me.
Keep in good work and thanks for this DVB program.
EDIT: Ok. Just see the DiseqC problem was realted with another card/driver. Sorry!
Sorry but my DiseqC is working quite well with my setup (see below). I got a Galaxis 4-port switch with 3 LNB connected. One dish with Astra+HotBird (13E) and another one beaming Hispasat (30W)....If you are using BDA driver, you won't have Diseqc support on DD...

Is it really working well without problem ? Can you scan 8psk (DVB-S2) transponders without problem?
People were reporting issues in the previous versions related to SkyStarHD, so it hasn't been added to supported devices list yet.
if you can confirm that it is stable enough, I'll add it into supported devices list (with yourname

I sholud reply on this thread, http://www.dvbdream.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1230 to your unanswered question before, but I was not registered then.
Well, it is working on both DVB-S and DVB-S2 FTA channels. Don't know if it has some problems on pay services. Watching sat TV about two hours daily and no crashes or something else.
Tested Canal AD (Hispasat, DVB-S HD) and Astra HD Promo (Astra, DVB-S2 HD). Both channels show stuttering and I do not think it is a DD issue but my own configuration. No freezes at all, just 'choppy'. Current codecs are:
Video Codec.....: CyberLink (New) (v6.0.0.138 - 07/02/2007)
Audio Codec.....: CyberLink (New) (v6.1.0.84 - 08/02/2007)
H264 Codec......: CyberLink (PDVD7.x) (v1.99.0.125 - 07/02/2007)
Video Renderer..: Video Mixing Renderer 9
Audio Renderer..: Default DirectSound Device
Skystar HD card driver 4.4.10.18
I must tell you that with the original Technisat DVB program also have stuttering. So don't think an DD issue.
Stutter could be a graphic card related. I am using GMA3100 onboard Intel chipset at the moment.
DD 1.3c freezes sometimes at the start and I had to reboot the computer or wait long to finish the program. DD 1.4 crashed sometimes due to Astra scanning (known problem solved with BDA-ALL which I did not test yet).
DiseqC works as I said before. So, what kind of issues you refer to? I did not see anything about here (perhaps i did not perform an in depth search... )
Hope it helps. If you need more details, please tell me.
