Where do I find GUID for downloaded Codec?

Postby oskar4pbr » Sun Nov 25, 2007 9:03 am

I have downloaded many of the suggested files only to find they are not listed in the guids.ini file. Where do I find so I can enter them in file myself. Trying to watch 4:2:2 HD, it's working but video is running way behind audio. Thanks for any help offered and I have tried to read before posting but couldn't find answer.

You need a DirectShow Filter Manager. I like to use DSFMgr (freeware) do a google search. It will show all your installed filters along with their CLSID.

Thank you very much for the reply, I have downloaded one. I believe now the graphics card is my problem. Updated signature so hopefully someone will agree or disagree with me.
