Number of transponders on scan

Postby gmcgoo » Sun Dec 09, 2007 9:46 am

Does anyone know why only 28 or 27 transponders would show on a bird known to have 32?

some of the transponders could be in a band that your LNB cant receive.
i.e. if you have a Ku band LNB, you can't tune to C band frequencies. (and these frequencies wouldnt be displayed on DD)
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

OK thanks. It's just that in MT I get the 32 transponders with the same LNB.

- use network scan
- use an up to date INI file.
- check modulation types for the missing TPs, those might not be supported by DD yet on your device interface (!) i.e. DVB-S2 modulations on BDA interface
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
