plug in help

Hi I have done some reading and was wondering what i need to do to install plug ins, I am new to all this so bare with me. Is it just a matter of drag and dropping plug in into the plug in folder?

So far I was able to successfully set up and scan in 3 seperate sats and no erros with codecs or anything. I was jsut wondering how to install an em**ation patch and vpl** in. I also have an issue with my remote not working with the dvb dream software. I will keep trucking but if you can point me in the direction of a post that may help me with this it would be much appreciated.

So i figured out the plug ins but the remote is still in question. Anyone with a twinhan 1020a get their remote to work well with dvb dream?
