Hi,
I have been scouring forums for the past 48 hours trying to fix the following problem to no avail.
The current setup is a the dish in sig, a DP34 switch, with 110 going into input 1, and 119 going into input 2. 129 is going into input 3, but that is of little concern to me. Currently a sub DPro box is hooked up to port 1.
For some reason, DVBdream will not switch between 110 and 119. My experience thus far, and my current situation is the following.
I tried mytheatre, and it is scanning and switching between 110 and 119 just fine, with simple setting diseqc for 110 to committed port 1, and diseqc for 119 to committed port 2.
Now, as soon as I close mytheatre, and go into dvbdream, I am only able to scan the sat I last scanned in mytheatre! Say for example I was just scanning 119 in mytheatre, and closed it and went to dvbdream, I can then scan 119 no problem, but when I try to scan 110, it's just bringing up 119's channels.
Then, if I close DVBd, go back into mytheatre, and scan 110 in mytheatre, then close it and go back to dvbdream, then dvbdream will only scan 110, and not 119.
The bottom line here, I believe, is something is either wrong with my diseqc settings in dvb dream, or maybe the bda driver from the azurewave CD just doesn't want to cooperate?
Current Diseqc settings in DVB Dream:
Diseqc type: 1.0 or 2.0
Port 1: 110
Port 2: 119
Then both have the following settings:
LNB Type: NA Bandstacked DPro Ku-Hi (DBS)
Diseqc commands: blank
22hz: off
uncommitted switch port: disabled
DVBd not switching sats on a DP34 switch. Diseqc settings?

have you tried the all the alternatives?

I dont have a 1027 to test unfortunately.

The Twinhan 1027 is not a good card. It does not work with diseqc on dvbdream. I have that card and was unable to get it to work. I used the BDA_ALL program and it doesn't help. The card has voltage supply problems. It can't power certain LNB's. You'll need a power injector for it. I use a viewsat in soft-off mode with the 1027 plugged into the loop out. That functions as a power injector. Mytheater can work the diseqc switches in that configuration, but DD still can't.
BDA_ALL's log says its sending the codes, then it sends a second set, but there has been no indication that anything actually left the card.

I did read a few things about WDM drivers working better for the twinhans, but I do see the zip file for Twinhan WDM in a recent thread on this forum section, and it is an .ini file and two .sys files with no readme.
I assume you just extract the ini and sys files to a folder and right click the .ini and hit install driver? or is there a certain place to put those / certain procedure?
