I installed the 1020 card with the drivers that came with. It took me five min. to get it up and running with twinhanDTV with quality signal of 95, but I don't have any signal in DVBD. The device initiated is Twinhan Direct, signal and quality is zero.
My setup is motorized dish, Invacom LNB, Diseqc switch 1.2, in port 4,from there one cable goes into my house in the receiver. So basically my STB is working, my Twinhan DTV has a signal and not DVBD.
I'm trying to test the free VueHD channel on Nimiq2 to see the quality of the HD video.
The setup in the DVBD is port 4, NA Legacy 11250, I've tried also the WDM drivers, not working as well.
I've been trying to get it working for about a week with luck. My card is on the compatabilty list of DVBDream.
Thank you
DVBDream can not initiate Twinhan 1020

I have a similar problem with the Twinhan 1027. I have never found the cause or a good solution to the zero signal strength problem in DD. However, I have found a few possible workarounds.
First, try this, go to the Devices and restart the device by highlighting it and then clicking START and then OK. Usually, that will wake up the card so that you will get signal strength in about 10 seconds.
Second, if that fails, exit DD and start MyTheater. Once you have a picture, exit MT and restart DD. The signal strength will come in normally. Make sure that you have MT set to leave the LNB powered on exit.
One other thing is that with the 1027, DD does not properly control the diseqc switches. So if you were depending on that, then it really isn't getting a signal. The 1020 may work OK with diseqc, but I have never tried one.
With the 1027, it doesn't have enough drive power to work my dishpro twin LNB. I have heard that all Twinhans are the same way. I solved that problem by connecting it to the loop out of my STB so the STB provides the necessary power to the LNB. Also, sometimes you can simply connect an STB to the other port and that will power things, but that doesn't always work.
Lastly, there is a new BDA_ALL driver that you can download. It might work OK with your card, but it doesn't with the 1027.

I have a twinhan 1020a working no problem. Go to the twinhan website and download the WQHL drivers for the card they are bda drivers and are recognized by Dream. Secondly choose a bandstacked lnb with a lof1 of 5150000 and an lof2 of 11250000. This is working very well for me. I am using a sw44 so i only get about 326 channels on 82W.
Hope that helps
