DD in use with Windows XP x64 / 64bit

Postby ScanMan » Wed Dec 06, 2006 10:47 am

Is anyone experienced in using DD with Windows XP x64 ?
I tried it with DD 1.3b today. DVB-Card is TwinHan 1030D with latest BDA-Drivers for x64.
DD won't start when selecting the (only) BDA-Device and want to sent ProbReport to Mr. Gates.
While selecting the NULL-Device, DD starts without probs. Then selecting the BDA is possible, but scan gives no result - Signal and Quality always on 100%. Following starts of DD are always impossible (because Driver is selected now).
Can anyone give a clue what to do or is it categorical impossible ?
Next prob would be the codecs in 64bit ?! I have a few installed...

can not to work in Windows XP 64bits, the only diference with the above is I always get 0% signal and 0% quality.

Testing with the latest version of DD (1.4i), twinhan 102g with latest BDA drivers.

In other DVB soft (MT) works without trouble

Similarly my SkyStar 2 worked for all other programs except DD. In my case I could only get Horizontal channels in DD. Turned out to be incorrect satellite settings, other programs seem to be a little more idiot proof when it comes to these settings. In my case, when it came to LNB type I had to use "Other".
