how play .ts file?

I write hd video. produced ts file, I can not see it.
All players will issue an error in open file.
installed codecs CoreAVC 1.8 and mainconcept.
Sorry for bad english. I from russia.
Technotrend 1401 driver: 5.0.0.6 , cpu: Core2Duo E7200, mb:Gigabyte P35, 4GB DDR2 800mhz, video: 512mb Radeon HD4870 HDD: 500gb Seagete os: vista 32bit

I use a program called "Alive HD Video Converter". Change the .ts files to a different format and then watch them.

PowerDVD 8 plays the HD ts files directly

VLC player also plays .ts files and is free. Google it.
