Have to switch Video Codec everytime starting DvbDream

Hi,

I've recently encountered this problem. Everytime I start DvbDream, it shows up, starts Skywalker, receives channel, displays channel info, but the screen is black. I have to go to Video codec and switch the codec (between Inter Video and Cyber Link), then I get the pictures. If I close the program, run it again, I'll have to switch to the other codec for it to display the pictures, and so on.

I don't know whether this is a bug or it has to do with my codec settings. Any idea?

Yes, I have the same problem on two different installations.

I see you use a VISTA
so you must use a "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR"
never install DD in Program files folder no user rights there
better not in "C:\" at all

read more for permissions in Vista

I un-checked "Reset DS after channel change" and now it is working fine.
