Weird scanning problem (Skystar2)

I don't know if there are other topics with the related problem, but i cant scan any transponder higher than 11681 on hotbird. (am getting no signal). Any suggestion? I tried 4.4.0 and 4.5.0 driver

I dont really know whats LOF! Sorry, can you explain me more about it?
In my "hotbird transponder" options in DVBdream i see:
Lof1=9750000
Lof-sw=11700000
Lof2=10600000
I got another question:P What i have to set my LNB power? 13V or 18V?

LOF is Local Oscillator Frequency.
Oscillator is inside your LNB.
Frequency is the property of LNB.
You have to configure your software to use exactly the same frequency as LO inside your LNB.
Setting it to different value does NOT mafically change the frequency inside your LNB.
Usually, 13V and 18V level select proper polarization (Vertical and Horizontal, respectively).
Thus, "polarity" is the most common settings (there are some exceptions).
Thus, first thing you need to know is:
what type of LNB do you have in your system.
Without that, you can NOT continue (cause you don't know how to configure your software).
PS: universal LNBs usually have two LOFs. One can select one or another with a 22kHz tone. Software looks on the transponder frequency and switches tone ON, if frequency is higher then "lof-sw" value, and OFF if frequency is lower. Thus, it can automatically select proper LOF.
The problem usually comes with driver compatibility. BDA drivers don't have standard functions for tone- or diseqc-control. WDM drivers is the way to go.
It's possibly, that the driver you use does not understand DVB Dream's command to switch 22kHz tone On/Off. Thus, LOF2 gets never selected.

Hmm... I cant really understand what you mean. It was working with no problems for some years now... Weird! The only thing i know about my LNB is that its 1.2dB and maybe its universal, but i am not sure. How i can find what Frequency it has? Do i have to go in my dish and check it closely?
Am also using the Motech 2100 motor. Isnt it weird who i can scan any hotbird transponder higher than 11681hz and below this everything is fine?

don't you have LNB's specs?
where did you get it?
is model number written on your purchase receipt?
And get rid of Vista x64.
There is absolutely no point to use it with your 2GB RAM.
I bet, finding WDM drivers for 64-bit OS is a challenge as well.
install 32-bit OS (you'll get a better luck with WDM drivers).

Am 2 years now in vista x64 with no problems. There are WDM and BDA drivers out for some time now... Nope i dont got any specs unfortunately. Please tell me if its possible my LNB to be broken... I ll go buy a new one, enough time i lost with this shit. Thanks a lot for you time mate.
