Skystar HD2 and 4/1 switch

Postby homer13 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 2:50 am

My config:
4/1 diseqc switch with 2 LNBs (0.2db Maximum) connected to port 1 and 2
Win XP Pro 32 bit
BDA mantis driver
MediaPortal, DVBViewer TE, DVB Dream (the most advanced and stable, but doesn't see second LNB :()

The probleml:
mp and dvbv manage to switch betweens LNBs (strangely though, mp calls the second one AB, dvbv BA). DVB Dream seems to see only the first LNB.

What I've tried:
Searching this forum, I've found only people reporting problems with motor positioners or 8/1 switch, not with 4/1.

What I am about to try:
I've found info about diseqc raw commands on this site:
http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/4_5_5.html

and am about to try the following commands:

E0 + 00 + one of the following:

Set pos a 22
set s0a 23
set pos b 26
set s0b 27
set s1a 28
set s2a 29
set s3a 2a
set s4a 2b
set s1b 2c
set s2b 2d
set s3b 2e
set s4b 2f

Could that help at all or the problem is dvb dream not knowing how to pas diseqc commands to Skystar HD2 via BDA driver?
