New Prof Revolution S2 7301 will not scan with DVB Dream

Postby wilberforce » Tue Apr 27, 2010 8:06 am

I have just set up a new Prof PCI S2 7301 in a computer with an AMD processor running Windows 7.
Everything installed OK. I am looking at AMC 21 at 125 deg W using transponder 12180 V 30000 3/4
I am seeing sig. quality of 100% and sig. strength of 85% ( but nothing shows up on a scan.)
The Prof card and DVB Dream drives the dish motor OK
I was reading in the support section of your web page that symptom could be caused by a corrupted E Eprom.
I downloaded ( EEprom Recovery Set-up ) and ran it but the problem still exists.
Am I missing something or could there be a problem with the new card.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm unable to test that card as I dont have one.
better to write to Prof support on their site. They wrote their own interface for DD.
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

Hi thanks for the reply. I did E Mail Prof support several times and after receiving NO support I thought I would try another avenue and post my problem on this forum.
