[quote="genpix"]WRONG advise!!!

you do NOT need special INI.quote]

Sorry genpix , he DOES need a special INI. And the original starter of this thread DOES have a DP LNB.

"I'm trying to get the proper Diseqc settings for a Dishpro Twin LNB.

As for the one with a DP Dish and a SW21 switch, my comments do not apply. This is for the original poster nakedlunch451.

A DP LNB CANNOT see horizontal TP's. It's a common problem that is discussed all over the place. And in my experience, with many different DVB apps, I needed a special DP ini file. These ini's change the horizontal TP's into vertical TP's with an equation. Look it up. I have DP LNB's, it works for me.

Only crippled DVB application need DP-modified INI file.
DVB Dream is not crippled, it does know how to talk to DP LNB.

You gotta be kidding :)
You still don't understand DP technology, I guess.
It is legacy LNB which can not see horizontal TPs while tuned to vertical polarization.
DP LNB does see all TPs (no matter horizontal or vertical polarization).
It is because of that ability it's possible to use only one coax cable from LNB to the switch (instead of two like with legacy LNB).
