Re: Diseqc for KWORLD DVB-S100

Postby rel » Wed Oct 31, 2007 10:49 pm

Hi!

I have a Kworld DVB-S100 and its working fine except for changing the Diseqc port. I am using DD version 1.3c. I read all the BDA related notes and tried the latest BDA patch. I also tried the RAW Diseqc commands with no switch and have not been able to succeed. Does any one have additional insight on what might work. The card has a Connexant chip. Is the patch that I used from this thread good for other cards also? What type of information would I need to provide to get a similar patch - not sure exactly what was modified in the patch.

Thanks
it is not listed in the supported BDA devices list :http://www.dvbdream.org/supported_devices.php

if anyone can find/send any document/SDK/sample how to set up diseqc using its BDA interfaces, it could be fixed.

How does Disecq work with BDA devices?

Postby phil06 » Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:22 am

I have the same problem as Philou5 and I tried everything in the différents configurations of this post without any succes. First with latest 4.0 bda drivers from hauppauge and with bda_all from scanman.

I have a dish with two LNBs - Hotbird 13° and Astra 19.2°

My device is the HAuppauge Nova-s + DVB-S card with BDA drivers.

But I can only watch Hotbird 13° which is on the 1rst LNB.

I'm not able to get the channels on Astra.
How must I configure this in DVB Dream 1.4i ?

Astra 19.2° on Port 1
Hotbird 13.0° on Port 2

I f you need diseqc documentation I will sen you. Thanks
