I have nVidia Purevideo and Cyber Power DVD installed. Under 'Video' section, I see different decoders under Audio and Video codec sections. But, for 'H.264 Codec' the drop-down is empty !!!
Pls help.

Well, did you install a h264 codec?
Nivida Purevideo does NOT support h264 (mpeg2 decoder) and only PowerDVD version 7 and later has built-in h264 codec.

The clue is to edit Guids.ini file situated in the root folder of DD.

I seem to have the same problem. I have PowerDVD 7.3 installed. It shows up in the Codec Detective as Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD7.x) and I used the modified guids.ini file but it still doesnt show up in DD. Nero H.264 didnt show up before I used the modified guids file and now it does so Im not sure why Cyberlink wont show up.
Edit: I got it to show up however all of the video renderers are incompatible with it, does that mean I cant use the Cyberlink H.264 codec or am I doing something wrong here?

Use {8ACD52ED-9C2D-4008-9129-DCE955D86065}
It will show up as; CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7)

I don't know if PDVD 7.3 H.264 filter as the same CLSID as the PDVD 7.2 one, but what I know is that there was a little issue in the previous Guids.ini file I've uploaded
I've updated my previous post so you can download the corrected version of Guids.ini.
