GENPIX Skywalker not initializing

I have been using my GENPIX Skywalker with MT with no problems, but I want to try DVBDream. I downloaded DVBD v1.3c from this site and installed it. I also copied the gp_8PSK-to-USB2_1.2.3.dev file to the Devices folder of DVBD. When I run DVBD, it allows me to select the GENPIX device, but it fails to initialize. I have reset the Skywalker and re-run DVBD, but it still refuses to initialize.

What do I need to do?

OK, I'm silly, I know.

I uninstalled DVBD, installed the version that came on the CD with the GENPIX, copied the driver that came on the CD into the Devices of DVBD (which is older), and then ran DVBD.

What do you know....it works!

Even thought the version of DVBD shows as 1.3c on the CD, the header on the program running shows 1.3b. I'll have to get things running first and then see about upgrading the program.

this is old driver. It does not support SkyWalker-1

what makes you think that it's older?

It's gp_Unified_1.0.0.dev - the latest (and the only) Unified driver.
It's much younger then obsolete gp_8PSK-to-USB2_1.2.3.dev (which is for original adapter only).

PS: Unified driver supports all genpix devices.
