Using 2 DVB-S cards simultaneously

Postby sdf » Mon Oct 15, 2007 1:14 am

Hi there!

I searched the forum, but didn't find anywhere explained how to use 2 DVB-S (or -C, ot -T) cards simultaneously.

Also noticed that DD does not want to start second instance, even with the switch /device=, which i think sets the selected "device" in the DD's Devices Option Box, rather than selecting which DVB card to use

Both my cards are SkyStar HD, latest drivers, WinXpPro SP2, identified in DD as BDA Satellite, and I want to lock them on 2 different transponders simultaneously. Is that possible using DD?

Any help appreciated!

only possible when you use two different dvbdream installations.
e.g.
c:\dvbdream1
c:\dvbdream2

Not possible to use the same DD installation for two devices at the same time.
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
