with DVBream and a fireDTV can I move the rotor?

yes, it has Raw Diseqc support on BDA drivers. and supported by DD v1.4

Thanks, I'll test it with the floppyDTV S2 as soon a longer firewire cable arrive and hoping in a similar hardware.
