BxS SkyStar 2 - Device for DVB Dream v1.1

Features:

Include all files need for Marcel Majoor (MM drivers for Win 2K/XP) and for B2C2 (patched "Sky2PCAVSrc.ax" file for RawDiSEqC support).

Use MM mode by default.

To use B2C2 mode edit the "BxS_SkyStar_2.ini" and put "Source=440".

To have support for RawDiSEqC in B2C2 mode copy the patched "Sky2PCAVSrc.ax" file to "TechniSat DVB\bin" directory.

It means only for r2.6x, or it should work also with r2.3?

Its realy intrested i missing only a simple file to and how to instal and copy what file to where.

Simple copy all files in the Devices directory to Dvbdream\devices directory.

I've tried BxS's this alternative B2C2 device with Marcel Majoor's alternative driver, seems to work faster than official driver on my PC.

I had some difficulties on 42e low-sr channels though. but maybe it is my configuration/card revision.

try and share your result here please.

If you (have a SkyStar 2 r2.6) want to try BxS skyStar 2 device file using M.Majoor driver but don't want to have work changing between drivers look here:

You can find the "Replace_SS2_r26_driver" program that do the work for you.

This is a very simple version based in the Marcel Majoor installdriver program. (Include Source Code)

B2C2 insite i have place the Skynet.sys 4.4.0 and the Skynet. setup file

now i can switch from B2C2 from on a simple way and its always in the program

Here my test results
2 test Pc's are the same here.
With the B2C2 direct file the test give a better result (faster channel switch) than the MM version with BxS.

Do you mean b2c2_direct.dev file?? Or b2c2.dev? b2c2_direct.dev is just a test version..

You said that you will test it , so what I want is if you have access to a sat with lots of transponders with low symbolrates, try to lock them with BxS_SkyStar_2(MM) device and with the B2C2(rel) and tell me the results.
