If Default audio renderer (after first installation of DD) is not "Default DS Device", then I suggest to do it so. Several users don't like it and some of them don't know how to change and even don't ask.

If not possible, we could add it to FAQ at least.

I was never playing with this setting and since first install I have set default direct sound device. Is anything I miss behind this request or isn't default DS still preset on first install?

Yes, I tried to remove ini and it's "Default DS Device" by default, strange. Don't know why some users have other renderer there by default...

Moved to General, maybe we could find reason of this strange behavior, maybe just these users change that option and then volume changes master volume.

ok, "Default Direct Sound Device" will be default after "first installation" in next version of DD.
