hardware error

I am trying to setup dvbdream with my happauge nexus-s card. When ever i started dvbdream software i am getting the following error.
General Hardware Fault!
Cannot Initialize DVB Hardware! ErrorCode:1 Application will work in Offline mode.

Please advise.

you must check supported devices list before trying DD
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

No, there are NO plans to support that old device (with hardware limitations) on DD
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
