Unable to scan certain transponders

Postby Txops » Sat Feb 16, 2008 10:32 am

First of all I would like to congratulate the devolepers for such a great piece of software. I have tried several similar programs and this one beats them all.
Secondly I would like to ask a question. I seem to be unable to scan certain transponders on the satellite. I've got a motorised system and when I point to Astra 2, I am unable to receive anything from transponder 10773 for instance. Other transponders seem OK, but there are some where I don't get any signal.
I haven't been able to find out a pattern, whether is high or low transponder or vertical or horizontal. It seems completely random.
The LNB seems to work fine with other programs as I seem to get the whole spectrum. Any suggestion about what to check.
Thanks for reading me and any ideas will be welcomed.

Thanks for your help.
Yes, that shouldn't be the problem. I can receive that transponder with no problems with any other program or even with my Kaon decoder.
It really is a pity because DVB Dream seems a much better program than others, but somehow, certain transponders seem to be ignored.
I'll keep on investigating. This has to be my mistake in the configuration, but I can't find the error.
