You're right, it doesn't work. Don't know whether it's a ffdshow limitation, or DVB Dream issue, but it really looks it's just for video files.

there is a strange problem in using ffdshow xxl build 26-10-07 I did not notice it or may i miss it before in the previous versions when i use it with DD1.4d with the latest patches from rel in the describtion of the input size and aspect ratio always showing 704x576 PAR 12/11 and DAR 3/4 even in channels with size 720x576 or 352x576 or 544x576
Can any one explain it to me is it bug in ffdshow or bug in ddsource
I always use intermediate state of " set pixel aspect ratio=use overlay"
and intermediate state of " allow output format changes during playback"

is there a way i can use ffdshow to watch hd channels instead of using coreavc?
video decoder + ffdshow

Instead of using ffdshow as a video decoder, I use video decoder of choice and ffdshow for upscaling and postprocessing. I couldn't make it work as video decoder anyway. In ffdshow -> codecs -> raw video I set it to all supported. Generic video renderer in dvbdream.

Chanel switching is slower, fullscreen/window switching too. Aspect ratio is not kept in windowed mode, but it's fine in fullscreen. Ffdshow can be disabled anytime by changing video renderer. Dvbdream craches if resize in ffdshow is on. It's fine enough for me, and picture is amazing.
Audio Delay FFdshow

New here, i notice that Dvb after some time have audio delay...with video, or backward video in front of audio. This is sometime anooying.
FFdshow audio/video used.

This particular set of codecs are working for me in any video/dvd player and satellite/terrestrial player. All those who got problems because of it, probably have conflicting codecs installed. So, you remove every codec you have, run any registry cleaner you have, reboot and install FFDSHOW. It's the only thing you need cuz it basically (i click every box so it decodes everything) is an all-in-one codec. You don't need those Megapacks and whatnot, ffd has proven me for years to be stable and working great in any player (audio, video, streaming).
I recommend it. cheers mates...
