What is this new Mpeg feature?

what are these two labels one above the other in the new version. When I am watching a channel it displays either:
Mpeg2
mpeg2 or
mpeg2
mpeg1
mpeg2
mpeg4
Most of the time it is normal letter but sometimes the bottom one is grayed. what does that mean?

It is chanele info(for example video format of chanele and chaneles audio format)

If the top is video and bottom line is audio format. Why one of the two is grayed sometimes. What that means?

color change is for you to easily notice the difference.
mpeg-1 video and audio will be grey (older compression format)
