fix deinterlacing

hi
how do i fix deinterlacing or apply deinterlacing in dvbdream (picture is so bad in fast motion). i cant get any codecs to support it, except for ffdshow, but ffdshow dont offer hardware acceleration.
am currently using cyberlink codec

As I said in the other thread - tunrning off hardware acceleration was the way to go for me.
I tried ATI / Cyberlink codecs with hardware acceleration, different (manually set) deinterlacing settings in the ATI Catalyst Center and the shakines was still coming back. Finally I turned off hardware acc. in the Cyberlink codec and all problems are gone. That is why ffdshow is working for you - no hardware acceleration.
I would prefer to use harware acceleration - just like You - I bought the ATI card to have it but there seems to be a glitch in the drivers that ATI is not aware of (or they can't repeat it in their labs - I repoted this problem almost 2 months ago). I was an ATI supporter for years but after this - I go nvidia way next time. Sorry ATI.

thanks for your explanation on this. i did report to ati, and hopefully catalyst 8.4 should have a fix for this.
