Dual Monitor problem

I've got a XP machine running 3.2Ghz, 2.5GHZ RAM, Nvidia 7800GS 256MB and a Nova-s. Primary monitor is a Samsung LCD running off the DVI port, and the secondary is a CRT running off the VGA port.

Up until today I was able to run DVBDream on either monitor simply by dragging from one to another. I installed SP3 today for XP and now whenever I drag it to the secondary monitor I hear sound for a few seconds, and then it crashes.

Any ideas?

I'm using Nvidia's Pure Video for both Sound and Audio, with Video Mixing Renderer 9. Mytheatre with switch between either monitor without a problem. I do not have a H.264 codec installed though. Would that matter?

Thanks.

have you tried choosing overlay video renderer?

I have tried that, no luck. Any other video I play including, media player, VLC, mytheatre, etc., work without issue. DVBDream used to, but will not play on the other monitor for some reason.

I installed some Intervideo codecs and it now works. Odd considering that the Nvidia codecs work fine on Monitor 1, but not on Monitor 2. Reason I want the Nvidia codecs to work is because they give me the best picture quality and the lowest CPU usage. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks
