Every codec except for coreavc that is selected is red and an error appears saying that it is incomaptible. Why ? guids.ini is correct. Also on audio codec it is red. Coreavc 1.6 is not smooth and 1.6.5 and 1.7 is very slow-stutter-lag.

4400 X2 Athlon 2gig ddr2 ram <-- there's your reason

Ironically, everyone using an intel is using CoreAVC 1.6.0 just fine.

install last DirectX 9.0c Redistributable (June 2008) it include dx10
go to your mobo manifacture site and get last drivers for chipset
then go to nVidia download and get last drivers for video

xopowo am using a sempron 2800+@2000mhz single core 1g ram
and hdtv 1080p(i) no problem
so not amd is a problem

last version of CoreAvc is 1.7

Funny since i use a core2duo on a p5b-plus 2gb mem with a 8600GTS and have never been able to get h.264 to work 100% smooth... really doubt his cpu is the issue...

According to this: http://www.coreavc.com/index.php?option ... &Itemid=59

the pro version has this feature:
- SMP (multi-core CPU) support (limit 4)

also intervideo works well for audio.

First of all, I have tried this on my other pc its amd 64 x2 6400 and it is the same thing, and on my 4400 amd on a h264 my cpu useage is 45% in use. If I try cyberlink 264 then there is a sound delay, is there any way around this?

Try using AC3Filter for your audio.
