Hello
At this time I have a few codecs installed on my system. I looked in the guid.ini and all of them are listed but not selectable via DD. An example would be CyberLink. I see this codec listed a few times in the ini file. could this be the reason why I can not select it? Is there a breakdown on what should and should not be in the guid.ini? As you can see by what I am running some programs work great with the codecs that I have an others are jumpy or lagging. DD for some reason just started to get jumpy, lagging, and on occasion out of sync between audio and video. I am mostly seeing lag in the video, the stalling ans starting of video. I have removed the program and all traces and reinstalled it probably twice now. The first install seemed to work pretty good but the HD was pretty poor, but it ran very smooth, audio and video wise. What do I need to clean out to get it back to the smooth video but adding the HD resolution it lacked back then? If anyone is running the combination of hardware that I am, what have you found for the best video, audio combination?
I noticed since reading through the forums there seems to be less and less enthusiasm For DVBDream. What is up with this? This is a great program. I was able to get this up and running much faster then any of the others including the overblown MythTV.
Any help in getting the hardware in my situation running would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Problems not seeing all the codecs

For a guid entry to show in Dvbdream, it must not have a semi-colon at the begining of the line and the CLSID number must be exactly the same as the registered codec on your computer. Check "Direct Show Filter Manager" to verify the CLSID numbers.
Enthusiasm for Dvbdream is great, lack of forum activity is most likely due to how well it is working for everyone.
Mfury just released a SageTV plugin to use Dvbdream as a network encoder (including h.264), the plugin will also update the Sage EPG.
DvbLogic (Dvbridge) has a Dvbdream encoder to Vista Media center application in beta testing right now.
4therecord.eu can use dvbdream as a recorder with MediaPortal as the GUI. Isn't that special..
again Dvbdream is doing great.
