Skywalker is broken, try a different DVB software to verify that the device is offline.

i did and it was same results. Windows does find the hardware and it prompts for drivers and I install them. It is just that dvb apps dont see it and the device is installed.

If drivers are properly installed, and applications report the device as offline, time to sent back for repair. You had better contact Genpix.

it's a typical error message after SkyWalker-1 gets killed as in scenario #1 (in "How to kill genpix device" document on CD).
While incorrect Molex connector insertion (scenario #1) is most often reason of the damage, incorrect grounding (scenario #4) can cause similar result.

The unit was not touched prior this happening, it worked fine for 5 months and then the next day there was no response from it. It still makes a USB regognized sound and the drivers install fine, but it is not recognized by the application software. I can assure you the the molex plug was never taken out, and it is the only device.
