Running Vista 64, WinTV Nova-s pci
codec, ffd video, sonic for audio, and coreavs for h264
BEV. I have a older Directv DSS 24" sat with single lnb from back in my DTV days
I actualy have a full BEV unit and sub, legit. So aiming dish was a joke. I am using Nimiq1
Here is the questions, just need some direction, links etc
1. Why is everything I look at in 4:3? resolution 704x480. I play with the aspect ratio, it never seems to give me true 16:9
2. Shoudn't every channel be 5.1? Or at least every ppv channel? I select the channel, say vu4, switch it to AC3 using the little speaker pic, and a lot of the times, it's still stereo, a few times, it's AC3. I'd figure every new movie these days on PPV should be 5.1?
2. Do I need two lnbs, 2 dishes, or motorized dish to get both nimiq1/2. I tell DD to get nimiq 1/2, it seems to scan download both, but all I get is duplicate channels. I don't see anything HDTV related anywhere. How can I tell I'm truly getting both nimiq 1/2? Heck I can tell it to download echostar 7,8,9 etc, it downloads something, but again, duplicate channels????
3. Anyway to stream to either xbox 360, ps3, tversity? or MCE? i have Vista ultimate with 08 tv pack installed.
4. I can't get pip to work with any codec.
