Switching off LNB Power

Postby Travellerjones » Sun Nov 16, 2008 11:35 am

Hi
Am a newbie to this stuff.
Have just installed DVBDream on XP Workstation.
I want to know how i turn off the power to the LNB.
Reason: I installed the DVB card (Twinham 1020A) and installed the software that came with it. I also have a Fortec box running at the same time through a splitter. When I run DVBDream the signal on my Fortec box vanishes. On the Twinhan software, once I switched off the LNB power this problem went away.
I have 2 fixed dishes pointing to DN and BEV.

Following this, are there any standard settings I should use to get these two dishes to run?
Cheers

splitters are prohibited for Satellite equipment (DP is the only exception).
Get rid of it before you kill one of your receivers.
